When a session has reached its capcity, and a student wants to enroll in it, they have the option to put themselves on the waitlist if the session is still open.
As shown in the example below, to add themselves to the waitlist, they would click the waitlist button.
If they put themselves on the waitlist they cannot sign up for any other session for the event because the event will no longer be visible in their learning as an option to enroll, but will show in their course assignments. However, an instructor or an ILT Session Pass administrator can access the roster in the session scheduler and add them to an additional session. This will keep the student on the roster regardless if the student gets enrolled in the waitlist session or not.
If a student unenrolls in the session that is full and leaves room for the student waitlisted, the student will automatically get enrolled in that session. An email notification will be sent, notifying the student that they are now enrolled in the session and they will see that they are enrolled in their learning's course assignments:
